Prospective Parents

School Tours

Do you have a child starting school in September? Or perhaps your child is in an older year group and you’re looking for a new school community? We would love to welcome you!

Our school is more than just a place to learn – it’s a family where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive. If you’d like to see what makes our school so special, we warmly invite you to come for a tour. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our staff, explore our classrooms, and discover the caring environment we offer.

To arrange your visit, please contact the school office on 01323 502525 or email office@heronppa.org.uk and we'll arrange a time for you to visit us.   We can’t wait to meet you and share all the exciting things happening at our school!

School Admissions

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.

The local County Council makes arrangements for the admission of children to our school in the Reception year (4+ year olds).

You will need to apply for a place at the school you would like your child to attend – it doesn’t happen automatically. Even if your child already attends the nursery class of the school, or your older children go there, you will need to apply. You may not get a place at the same school if other children have priority.
