Welcome to Term 4!
Please have a read of the information below to find out what your child will be learning all about this half-term.
We have also included several links to websites to support learning at home, that will compliment what we are doing in school, which we hope you will find useful.

Learning at home: English Poetry Slam - The Spider and the Fly by Mary Howitt and illustrated by Tony Diterlizzi

Based on the 1829 poem by Mary Howitt. Read by Emilia Fox "'Will you walk into my parlour.' said the Spider to the Fly..." is easily one of the most recognised and quoted first lines in all of English verse. Learn the words to this poem along to this YouTube video!

Learning at home: Times Tables Rockstars Practice Play TTRS at home to support learning all of your times tables up to 12 x 12 and the corresponding division facts too!

Learning at home: Spelling! By the end of year five, we hope that all children are able to spell the words from this list. Practice these for some extra learning at home!
